Customized, modified, or refurbished folding knives commissioned by owner.
I do not build folders from scratch, rather I customize them if they are suitable for the work you want on them. Some folders which are not suitible I could do, but i assume you do not want to spend an inordinate amount of money on perhaps a cheaper folder which would require an enormous price tag for me to alter. So, let me suggest that two signs of a folder that is suitable for doing handle scales are - 1.) liners that extend fully to the perimeter of the knife and 2.) those that are assembled with some mechanical means such as screws or bolts. I have learned this through the years and have done many that were otherwise, but I don't care to enter into those risks again. Blades however, can be made for a larger number of folders but they still need to be such that I can take the blades out, so this work also need to be on a screwed or bolted together knife. Lockbacks are usually not good for either type of job, whereas liner, axis, arc, and frame locks are.
Yes you will need to send us your knife!
